Brunswick Chamber of Commerce
100 Years Strong

The Brunswick Chamber of Commerce welcomes you to beautiful and historic Brunswick County and invites you to ‘GET A TASTE’ of the many unique features that are waiting for you to explore.

As the Chamber enters its 101st year, our mission statement has remained constant…”’The Chamber is an organization of community, business, educational, and civic leaders bonded together through mutual interests in promoting the wellbeing of Brunswick County as a desirable community in which to live, to rear our families and to conduct our business”.

You will feel as if you’ve come home the moment you arrive.  Brunswick has managed to keep our quaint rustic charm while offering you quite an array of not only history, but recreation as well.   Our county truly has an endless array of possibilities for your enjoyment.  Our lakes offer endless recreational opportunities from boating, skiing, and fishing at scenic Lake Gaston to scuba, kayaking and snorkeling at majestic Lake Rawlings. Family picnicking fun can be had at County Park at Great Creek. For the history buff there is Fort Christanna, Valentines Post Office, Gholson Bridge, and Civil War Trails just to name a few.  Perhaps you would prefer to leisurely explore our picturesque southern towns and communities along with our Tobacco Heritage Walking/Riding Trail or our Scenic Meherrin River. Many bird enthusiasts have made rare sightings along these Birding and Wildlife Trails.

If you still yearn for the bright lights of the big city, Brunswick is located centrally between two major interstates, 95 and 85, as well as directly on Intrastate 58, allowing for easy access to many major points in Virginia and North Carolina including Richmond, Raleigh, Virginia Beach and Williamsburg.  A perfect scenario for those yearning for a rural lifestyle, an hour or two drive and you have all that is offered in some of the larger commercial venues.  Who could ask for more?

The Chamber office located in the county seat of Lawrenceville at, 400 N. Main St., is ready to assist you with your visit.  We hope that you’ll ‘GET A TASTE OF BRUNSWICK’ and decide to sit and stay awhile!
